How long does roof washing take?
Two to four hours for a typical home, depending on pitch and how many faces the roof has. It is a same day job.
How much does it cost?
Roofs are quoted by size and pitch rather than a flat price, since a single story ranch and a two story with multiple gables are different jobs. Photos get you a real number.
Will the streaks disappear immediately?
Most of it goes right away. The last of it keeps fading over the following weeks as rain rinses the dead growth off. That is normal and it is how soft washing works.
Can this void my roof warranty?
Shingle manufacturers point to low pressure cleaning as the accepted method and warn against pressure washing, which is exactly why I soft wash. If you have paperwork from your roofer, read it before booking any roof cleaning from anyone.
