How long does paver sealing take?
Usually two days for a driveway. Day one is the cleaning and the joint sand, day two is the sealer, because the stone has to be dry before anything goes on it.
How much does it cost?
Paver work is priced by square footage rather than a flat rate, since a small lanai and a full driveway are different jobs. Send photos and rough measurements and you get a real number back.
How long does the sealer last?
Two to three years on a driveway in Florida sun, longer on a covered lanai. Traffic and sun exposure decide more than anything else.
Can you fix pavers that already look hazy?
Usually. A white haze normally means a previous sealer went on over trapped moisture. It has to be stripped before anything new goes down, and I will tell you upfront if that is what your surface needs.
When can I drive on it?
Walk on it after a few hours and park on it the next day. I will give you the exact window when I finish, because humidity that week changes it.
Do I have to seal, or is cleaning enough?
Cleaning alone is fine and it is cheaper. It just means you are back to a faded surface and open joints sooner. Around Nocatee and St. Johns, where the sand washes out fast, sealing is what makes the cleaning last.
